We are:
>> possible studio!
Possible Studio was established in 2020 by Sandra Kaji-O’Grady and John de Manincor. We have the energy of a new studio and the wisdom of decades of architectural practice, education and research in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and, now, the Byron Hinterland.
Our clients share our passion for inventive design and environmental responsibility. Collectively we explore multiple possibilities as we turn ideas about buildings into buildings about ideas. We have successfully completed projects ranging in scale from joinery and installations to landscapes and urban developments. We have brought our strategic talents and bold aesthetic to the design of houses, commercial, public and community projects.
Our studio is on the land of the Widjabul Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung Nation – you may know this special place as the Byron Hinterland. We believe Aboriginal sovereignty was never ceded. We work all across Australia on land that always was and always will be Aboriginal. We acknowledge all First Peoples and celebrate their enduring connections to Country, knowledge and stories. We pay our respects to Elders and Knowledge Holders of these places past, present and emerging.
